Combined “No Stopping” Sign and “Parking” Sign
PURSUANT to subclause (2) of regulation 120 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby prescribes, as provided in the Schedule hereto, the dimensions, shape, colours, and wording of a traffic sign to combine a sign of Class D and a sign of Class G as described by subclause (1) of the said regulation.
SCHEDULE

The upper half of the sign shall consist of black letters and numeral on a yellow ground. The lower half of the sign shall consist of yellow numerals and letter on a black ground.
NOTE—The numerals are for illustration only and may be replaced by other appropriate numerals.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Closely Populated Locality Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

That Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936 dated the 3rd day of March 1938* which relates to part of the Nelson-Westport State Highway No. 54, referred to in the said Warrant as the Nelson-Inangahua Junction Main Highway at Murchison in Murchison County, is hereby revoked.

The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED in Murchison County—
That portion of the Nelson-Westport State Highway No. 54 from a point 9 chains east of Milton Street to a point 4 chains west of its junction with the Murchison-Frog Flat via Matakitaki Main Highway No. 162.

Limited Speed Zone and Closely Populated Locality Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

The roads and portions of roads specified in the First Schedule to this notice are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

The roads and portions of roads specified in the Second Schedule to this notice are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rotorua County—
All those roads at Western Heights consisting of Gordon Road (from Island View Road to Upland Road), Upland Road, Inverness Road, Island View Road, Ross Road, Brooklands Road (from Ross Road to Paradise Valley Main Highway No. 913), Roosevelt Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rotorua County—
All those roads at Western Heights consisting of Paradise Valley Main Highway No. 913 (from a point 30 chains west of Roosevelt Road to the Rotorua Borough boundary), Gordon Road (from Island View Road to Old Quarry Road), Brooklands Road (from Park Road to Ross Road), Park Road, Bell Road, Fairview Road, Steeles Lane, Kaka Road, Tui Street.

That portion of the Richmond-Collingwood State Highway No. 53 at Lower Moutere from its junction with Hursthouse Street to a point 40 chains south of the said junction.
