of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government
road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no
longer required.

situated in Block I, Mimi Survey District, Taranaki R.D., de-
scribed as follows:

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 18th day of July
1955, published in Gazette, 21 July 1955, Volume II, page
1135, and registered in the Land Registry Office at Welling-
ton as No. 5325, taking land for a parking place in the City
of Wellington, in so far as it affects the land described in the
Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

ALL those pieces of land in the Wellington Land District,
situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., described
as follows:

Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent State
Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land
described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest
land.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT-NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in Inangahua County, containing by ad-
measurement 55,100 acres, more or less, more particularly
described as follows: all that area containing 6,400 acres,
more or less, situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Maimai Survey
District, and Blocks IX and XIII, Reefton Survey District,
being all of the provisional State forest land set apart in
Gazette, 1941, page 747 (319 acres), and Gazette, 1920, page
2111 (1,570 acres), and portions of provisional State forest
land set apart in Gazette, 1946, page 72 (8 acres and 26
perches), Gazette, 1920, page 2111 (12,570 acres), and Gazette,
1920, pages 2110 and 2111 (17,200 acres), bounded by a line
commencing at a point being the northernmost corner of
Section 8, Block IX, Reefton Survey District; thence generally
south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said
Section 8, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of
Section 12, Block IX aforesaid, the south-eastern boundary
of Section 4, Block IX aforesaid, and that boundary pro-
duced to the western bank of the Inangahua River; again
south-easterly along the western bank of the said river, the
south-western boundary of Section 197, Square 131 (per-
manent State forest, Gazette, 1949, page 743), the north-
eastern, north-western, and south-western boundaries of Sec-
tion 192, Square 131 (permanent State forest, Gazette, 1949, page
743), the north-western boundary of Section 28, Block XIII,
Reefton Survey District (permanent State forest, Gazette, 1947,
page 1430), and the north-western, south-western, and south-
eastern boundaries of Section 40, Block XIII aforesaid (per-
manent State forest, Gazette, 1947, page 1430), to the north-
western boundary of Section 244, Square 131; thence gene-
rally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of
the said Section 244, Sections 164 and 163, Block XIII afore-
said, the north-eastern, north-western, and south-western
boundaries of Section 34, Block XIII aforesaid, the north-
western boundary of Section 39, Block XIII aforesaid, and
the north-eastern, north-western, and south-western boun-
daries of Section 11, Block XIII aforesaid, to the north-
western side of a railway reserve in Block XIII aforesaid;
again south-westerly along the north-western side of the said
railway reserve to and along the northern side of the Reefton-
Greymouth State Highway, again along the north-western
side of the said railway reserve to the south-eastern corner
of Section 16, Block XIII aforesaid; thence northerly, westerly,
and southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section
16, the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of Section
12, Block XIII aforesaid (permanent State forest, Gazette,
1947, page 1430), the western boundary of the said Section
16, and the abutment of a public road to the easternmost
corner of Section 19, Block XIII, Reefton Survey District;
thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of
the said Section 19 and Section 12, Block XVI, Maimai
Survey District, to its westernmost corner; and again south-
westerly along the north-western side of railway reserve in
Block XVI aforesaid to the eastern boundary of Section 9,
Square 126; thence generally north-easterly along the north-
eastern boundary of the said Section 9, the south-eastern
boundaries of Section 2 and Section 1, Block XVI aforesaid,
and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the eastern
bank of the Mawheraiti River, and along the said eastern
bank of that river to the southern side of a public road and
along the southern side of that road to a point in line with
the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XVI aforesaid;
thence northerly along a right line to and along the eastern
boundary of the said Section 5, the eastern boundary of
Section 3, Block XVI, Maimai Survey District, the south-
eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Maimai Survey
District, the abutment of a public road, and again along the
south-eastern and the north-eastern boundaries of the said
Section 2, the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of
part Section 3, Block XII aforesaid (provisional State forest,
Gazette, 1941, page 94), the south-eastern and north-eastern
boundaries of part Section 4, S.O. Plan 7315, the
north-eastern boundary of part Section 4, S.O. Plan 8727, and
the last-mentioned boundary produced to the left bank of the
Mawheraiti River; thence north-easterly along the left bank
of the said river to the point of commencement.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 48,700
acres, more or less, situated in Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, and
XII, Mawheraiti Survey District, Blocks XIII and XIV,
Reefton Survey District, and Blocks I, II, III, V, VI, VII,
IX, X, and XI, Waitahu Survey District, being all of the
provisional State forest land set apart in Gazette, 1920, pages
2111 and 2112 (330 acres, 2,080 acres, and 6,705 acres); 1923,
page 133 (1,000 acres); 1940, page 281 (697 acres and 2
perches); 1940, page 3640 (122 acres); 1942, page 2168 (3
acres); 1947, page 850 (307 acres 3 roods 14 perches); 1951,
pages 1001 and 1002 (537 acres 1 rood 9 perches); and
1957, page 534 (75 acres); and portions of the provisional
State forest land set apart in Gazette, 1920, page 926 (75,130
acres); 1920, pages 2111 and 2112 (850 acres, 4,320 acres
and 11,550 acres); and 1946, page 72 (8 acres and 26
