THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Lillburn Rabbit District Order 1958.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Lillburn Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of September 1949,* are hereby altered and redefined and as from the commencement of this order the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE LILLBURN RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Southland Land District containing by estimation 182,600 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the right bank of the Waiau River, in line with the right bank of the Wairaki River, at its confluence with the said Waiau River; thence southerly generally along the right bank of the said Waiau River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Section 5, Block II, Alton Survey District; thence north-westerly generally to and along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 5, across the Tuatapere-Clifden-Orawia Main Highway, along the northern side of a public road forming the northern boundaries of parts of Sections 5 and 6, Block II aforesaid, along the eastern side of a public road forming the eastern boundary of Section 15, Block XI, Alton Survey District, along the northern side of the said Section 15, along the northern side of Kaka Road, and along the eastern side of Kereru Road, to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 7, Block VI, Alton Survey District; thence westerly to and along the northern boundaries of the said Section 7 and part Section 6, Block VI aforesaid, to the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VI aforesaid; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of Sections 5, 3, and 1, Block VI aforesaid, to the southern boundary of Section 8, Block III, Lillburn Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundary of the said Section 8, to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 8 and 5, Block III aforesaid, to the southern side of Alton Road; thence easterly generally along the southern side of Alton Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block III, Lillburn Survey District; thence northerly to and along the eastern boundary of the said Section 2, to the southern boundary of Section 17, Block II, Lillburn Survey District; thence easterly, northerly, and westerly along the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of the said Section 17, to the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block VII, Lillburn Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 8, to the north-eastern corner thereof; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Section 8, across a closed road, and along the northern boundary of the State Forest described in Gazette, 1935, page 3571, to the north-eastern corner of Section 4, Block XIV, Lillburn Survey District; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 4; 3, and 2 and Closed Road, Block XIV aforesaid, to the north-western boundary of Hauroko Survey District; thence south-westerly and northerly along the north-western and eastern boundaries of the said Hauroko Survey District to the south-western corner of Block X, Lillburn Survey District; thence easterly, northerly, and again easterly, along the southern boundaries of Block X
aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of Blocks X and XI, Lillburn Survey District, the southern boundary of Block X, Monowai Survey District, and the eastern boundaries of Blocks X and VIII, Monowai Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Block VIII; thence along the northern boundary of the said Block VIII, to the eastern shore of Lake Monowai; thence north-westerly generally along the eastern and northern shores of Lake Monowai, to the south-eastern side of Lake Road; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of Lake Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Run 463, Block V, Monowai Survey District; thence north-easterly generally to and along the western boundary of Run 463, Blocks V, VI, and IV, Monowai Survey District to the right bank of the Waiau River; thence north-easterly generally along the right bank of the Waiau River to a point in line with the right bank of Redcliff Creek at its confluence with the said Waiau River; thence easterly generally to and along the right bank of the Redcliff Creek to the south-eastern boundary of Run 415^A1; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said Run 415^A1 to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence south-easterly along a right line to the source of Spence Burn; thence north-easterly generally along the left bank of the Spence Burn to the western boundary of Wairaki Survey District; thence south-westerly and southerly along the western boundary of Wairaki Survey District to the right bank of the Wairaki River; thence south-westerly generally along the right bank of the Wairaki River and across the Waiau River, to the point of commencement.

Notice of Intention to Issue Proclamations Closing a Street and Vesting Land in the Town of Naseby in Her Majesty the Queen as Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948
COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1955, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby give notice that it is my intention, after the expiration of three months from the date hereof, to issue Proclamations closing the street described in the First Schedule hereto and declaring the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown Land subject to the Land Act 1948.
Plans showing these lands are deposited in the offices of the Town Clerk, Naseby, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, and the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, where they may be inspected during office hours free of charge.
Any objections to the proposals either in general terms or by the registered proprietor or licensee or any other person having any estate or interest in the lands specified in the Second Schedule hereto are to be made in writing addressed to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, on or before the 1st day of July 1958.
