PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Authorising the Thames Valley Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Parts of the Coromandel and Thames Counties

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Thames Valley Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto; and further, for the purpose of section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorises the licensee to construct electric works within the said area of supply.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (j) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The system of supply authorised under paragraph (j) shall be a single conductor earth-return system and the use thereof shall be subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the General Manager of the State Hydro-electric Department.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 27th day of April 1963.
SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
ALL those portions of the Coromandel and Thames Counties included in the Thames Valley Electric Power District by the Proclamation altering the boundaries of the said District dated the 7th day of March 1958 and published in the Gazette on the 13th day of the same month at page 328.

Authorising Robert Bruce Lilburn, of Raetihi, Farmer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waimarino

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Robert Bruce Lilburn, of Oreore, Raetihi, farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s generator and proceeding in a south-easterly direction to the licensee’s house and thence generally in a north-easterly direction across a road to a house, all being situated in Section 8, Block I, Ngamatea Survey District, in the County of Waimarino, the said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 468 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

The Omihi Rural Fire District Order 1958

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 17th day of April 1958
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Omihi Rural Fire District Order 1958.
- This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The area specified in the Schedule to this order is hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Omihi Rural Fire District.
- The trees and other plants on State forest land situated in the said area are hereby specified as the property for the protection of which the district is constituted.
- The Omihi Rural Fire District shall, for the purposes of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, be administered by the Minister of Forests.
- The period between the 1st day of October in any year and the 30th day of April in the following year is hereby specified and declared to be a closed fire season in the said district.
SCHEDULE
AREA INCLUDED IN THE OMIHI RURAL FIRE DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Waimarino County, containing approximately 8,400 acres, situated in Blocks XVII, XVIII, and XIX, Waikari Survey District, and Blocks I, II, III, and IV, Teviotdale Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north and north-east by the northern side of Reeces Road; towards the south-east by the Serrat Downs Stream;
