Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for a Secondary School in the City of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Ella Elizabeth Craig, of New Plymouth, widow, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease No. 16312, Taranaki Land Registry, is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of May 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Taranaki Land District containing 3 roods 10 perches, situated in the City of New Plymouth, Taranaki R.D., being Sections 2321, 2322, and part Sections 2323 and 2324, Town of New Plymouth, and being also all the land contained in lease No. 16312, part certificate of title, Volume 75, folio 234, Taranaki Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a teacher’s residence; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of May 1958.

Easement Over Land Taken for the Development of Water Power (Pauatahanui Substation) in Block IX, Paekakariki Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for the development of water power (Pauatahanui Substation) over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity, first, to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of pipes under, along, or over the said land and to use the said line of pipes for the unimpeded conveyance of water, secondly, to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of drainage pipes, under, along, or over the said land and use the said line of pipes for the unimpeded conveyance of storm-water, thirdly, to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of cables for the supply of electrical power under, along, or over the said land, and fourthly, to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of telephone cables under, along, or over the said land, such easement to be appurtenant to the land in Proclamation No. 3076, Wellington Land Registry.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 17·67 perches, situated in Block IX, Paekakariki Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 63, Pauatahanui District. All certificate of title, Volume 499, folio 232, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the sewage easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 59421, Wellington Land Registry, for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of May 1958.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 8·45 perches, situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District, City of Palmerston North, Wellington R.D., being part Suburban Sections 290 and 316, Township of Palmerston North; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152845 (S.O. 23685) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue, and blue edged orange.
