In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Industrial Service Engineers Proprietary Ltd., a company incorporated in Victoria, Australia, and registered in New Zealand as an overseas company.
PURSUANT to section 405 (2) of the Companies Act 1955, Industrial Service Engineers Proprietary Ltd. hereby gives notice of its intention to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reserves Development Loan, 1958 of £22,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £22,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the War Memorial Gymnasium, Grandstand, and the Cycle Track at the Caledonian Ground, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0249953d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Development Loan 1957, £150,000: First Portion of £60,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Borough of Blenheim doth hereby resolve as follows:
“That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of £60,000 being the first issue of the Sewerage Development Loan 1957 of £150,000 authorised to be raised under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a new sewage treatment station and outfall, installing trunk sewer mains in the Borough, and reticulating the Springlands-Farnham area, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and two hundred and seventy-two one thousandths of a penny (2·272d.) in the pound (£) upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 26th day of March 1958.

BOROUGH OF PAPATOETOE
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE
THAT, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £19,000 authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the cost of erecting a new fire station, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one five four five pence (·1545d.) in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papatoetoe and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for road. A plan of the pieces of land proposed to be taken for road lies open for public inspection at the office of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street, Hamilton, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the Council on or before the 16th day of May 1958.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Lower Hutt Borough Empowering Act 1927.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council proposes, by virtue of the above-mentioned Acts and of all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, to execute a public work, to wit, the widening of Bridge and Marsden Streets in the City of Lower Hutt, and for the purposes of such public work the Council requires to take the pieces of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto for street.
And notice is hereby given that a plan of the said pieces of land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Council, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection during ordinary office hours.
And notice is further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said pieces of land should, if they have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said pieces of land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Lower Hutt City Council at its offices situated as aforesaid.
