Rotorua Borough Bylaws Order 1958, Amendment No. 1
Pursuant to section 8 of the Rotorua Borough Act 1922, the
Department of Tourist and Health Resorts hereby makes the
following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Rotorua Borough
Bylaws Order 1958, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read
together with and deemed part of the Rotorua Borough Bylaws
Order 1958 (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
April 1958. - The principal order is hereby amended by revoking paragraph (iii) of section A of the Schedule referred to in that
order, and substituting the following paragraph:
“(iii) Heat Storage Ranges—
All units … … 10d. per 10 units”
Given under the Common Seal of the Department of
Tourist and Health Resorts, as incorporated under the
Rotorua Town Act 1907 and the Rotorua Borough Act
1922, and under the hand of the Minister in Charge of
that Department this 31st day of March 1958.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940
Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing
officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in
column 1 of the said Schedule.

Regulations 1940
Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing
officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in
column 1 of the said Schedule.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
That portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice
is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes
of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

SITUATED within Malvern County:
All the area at Glentunnel consisting of the Darfield-Arundel Main Highway No. 138 from a point 3 chains east
of Victoria Street to a point 8 chains west of Government Road.

is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes
of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

SITUATED within Whangaroa County—
All that area at Whangaroa consisting of the Whangaroa-Kaeo Bridge Main Highway No. 840 from its northern extremity at Whangaroa Wharf to a point 48 chains south of Whangaroa Wharf.

Limited Speed Zone Declared and Closely Populated
Locality Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
- So much of the Warrant under Section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 8th day of June 1937,* as relates to part of the Ashley-Amberley Main Highway No. 149 at Amberley in Kowai County is hereby revoked.
- The roads and portions of roads specified in the First Schedule to this notice are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.
- The portion of road specified in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Kowai County—
That portion of the Picton-Christchurch State Highway No. 51 at Amberley from its junction with Bank Street to a point 8 chains north of its junction with the Ashley-Amberley Main Highway No. 149.
Also that portion of the Ashley-Amberley Main Highway No. 149 from its junction with the Picton-Christchurch State Highway No. 51 to a point 9 chains east of the bridge over the Kowai River.
Also that portion of the Amberley-Mount Brown Main Highway No. 680 from its junction with the Picton-Christchurch State Highway No. 51 to a point 13 chains north-west of its junction with Ropley Street.
Also Pound Street, Bank Street, Church Street, Ropley Street, and Gilbert Street (north and south of Amberley Railway Station).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Kowai County—
That portion of the Picton-Christchurch State Highway No. 51 at Amberley from its junction with Bank Street to a point 35 chains south of the said junction.
