Declaring Lands in South Auckland and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

PART Section 5, Block X, Puniu Survey District, and Lot 2, D.P. 25224, being part Ouruwhero No. 3, Section O, No. 1 Block, situated in Block X, Puniu Survey District: Total area, 2 acres 1 rood 37·5 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 657, folio 49; as shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/427A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of April 1958.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of April 1958.

ALL that piece of Crown land in the Marlborough Land District, Marlborough R.D., containing 11·87 perches, and being part Lot 19, D.P. 1815, being part Section 2, Omaka Registration District, situated in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Borough of Blenheim; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155676 (S.O. 4350) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for State housing purposes, is hereby set apart, subject to the drainage easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 52017, Wellington Land Registry, for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of April 1958.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 5 acres 1 rood 33·07 perches, situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District, City of Palmerston North, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 66, D.P. 19499, being part Rural Section 369, Township of Palmerston North.
