NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of Metal Goods (N.Z.) Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 25th day of April 1958, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 21st day of March 1958, a special resolution by entry in the minute book of the company, signed as provided by section 362 of the Companies Act 1955, for the voluntary winding up of the Sturdee Engineering Co. Ltd., and providing that Mr W. P. Wellington, of Dunedin, was nominated as liquidator was passed, and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the offices of Wellington and Ellis, Public Accountants, 24 Water Street, Dunedin, on the 31st day of March 1958, at 11 o’clock in the morning, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting, the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Marlborough Milk Treatment Co. Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 27th day of February 1958, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £17,000 to £13,500, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 19th day of March 1958. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of Marlborough Milk Treatment Co. Ltd. henceforth is £13,500, divided into 13,500 shares of £1 each, of which 8,100 shares shall be held by Her Majesty the Queen, and 5,400 shares shall be held by the Blenheim Co-operative Milk Supply Co. Ltd.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mataura Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a ground as a recreational reserve; and for the purposes of such public work the lands in the Schedule hereto described are required to be taken.

All persons affected by the execution of the proposed public work or by the taking of the lands in the Schedule hereto described, and who have any well grounded objection to the execution of the proposed public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections, in writing, and send the same within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the offices of the Mataura Borough Council, McQueen Avenue, Mataura.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situated in the Lindhurst Hundred containing by admeasurement five acres and twenty poles (5a. 0r. 20p.), be the same a little more or less, being Lot five (5) on Plan Deposited in the Land Registry Office at Invercargill numbered 1157, and being part of Section three (3), Block four (IV), of the said Lindhurst Hundred, and being also the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register Book, Volume 117, folio 203 (Southland Land Registry).
