Limited Speed Zone Declared and Closely Populated Locality Declared

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. So much of the Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936 dated the 15th day of July 1937* as relates to part of the Napier-Palmerston North State Highway No. 30 referred to in the said Warrant as the Farndon-Hastings Main Highway No. 30 at Clive in Hawke’s Bay County is hereby revoked.

2. The portion of road specified in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

3. The portion of road specified in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.†

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hawke’s Bay County—

That portion of the Napier-Palmerston North State Highway No. 30 at Clive from its junction with Mill Road to a point 5 chains north-west of the bridge over the Ngaruroro River.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hawke’s Bay County—

That portion of the Napier-Palmerston North State Highway No. 30 at Clive from its junction with Mill Road to a point 24 chains south of the said junction.

2. The portion of road specified in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Coromandel County—

That portion of the Coromandel Wharf Main Highway No. 530 at Coromandel from its junction with the Thames-Coromandel State Highway No. 39 to a point 14 chains west along the said State Highway.

Also that portion of the Thames-Coromandel State Highway No. 39 from its junction with the Coromandel Wharf Main Highway No. 530 to its junction with Te Tiki Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Coromandel County—

That portion of the Coromandel-Colville Main Highway No. 910 at Coromandel from its junction with Te Tiki Road to a point 38 chains north of its junction with Albert Street.

Also that portion of the Thames-Coromandel State Highway No. 39 at Coromandel from its junction with the Coromandel Wharf Main Highway No. 530 to its junction with Whangapoua Road.
