Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

SCHEDULE

Situated within Taupo County—

That portion of the National Park-Taupo State Highway No. 23 at Motuoapa from a point 9 chains south of its junction with Parekarenga Street to a point 10 chains north of its junction with Maniapoto Street.

So much of the Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 4th day of April 1938,* as relates to part of Westport-Karamea State Highway No. 79 at Market Cross and Karamea referred to in the said Warrant as the Westport-Karamea Main Highway No. 105 in Buller County is hereby revoked.

2. The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Buller County—

That portion of the Westport-Karamea State Highway No. 79 at Karamea from a point 12 chains west of Karamea School and continuing through Market Cross to a point 48 chains north of the Karamea River bridge.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. So much of the Warrant under Section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 19th day of April 1949,* as relates to part of the Timaru-Dunedin State Highway No. 59 at Herbert in Waitaki County is hereby revoked.

2. The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Waitaki County—

That portion of the Timaru-Dunedin State Highway No. 59 at Herbert from a point 8 chains north of its junction with Domain Road to its junction with Tain Street.

Limited Speed Zone Declared and Excluding Roads From Speed Limitation

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. So much of the Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 23rd day of November 1938,* as relates to part of the Auckland-Hamilton State Highway No. 7 referred to in the said Warrant as the Great South Road in Huntly Borough is hereby revoked.

2. The portions of road specified in the First Schedule to this notice are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

3. The portions of road specified in the Second Schedule to this notice are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Situated within Huntly Borough—

That portion of the Auckland-Hamilton State Highway No. 7 from its junction with Hakanoa Road to the northern boundary of Huntly Borough and from a point 14 chains north of High Street to the southern boundary of Huntly Borough.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Situated within Huntly Borough—

That portion of the Auckland-Hamilton State Highway No. 7 from its junction with Hakanoa Road to a point 22 chains north of the said junction and from a point 14 chains north of its junction with High Street to a point 32 chains south of the said junction.
