Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. That Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949,
   dated the 9th day of December 1955,* which relates to part
   of the Birkenhead-Maungaturoto State Highway No. 5, at
   Orewa, in Waitemata County, is hereby revoked.
2. The portion of road specified in the First Schedule to this
   notice is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality
   for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.
3. The portions of road specified in the Second Schedule
   to this notice are hereby declared to be limited speed zones
   for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waitemata County:
All that area at Orewa, consisting of the Birkenhead-
Maungaturoto State Highway No. 5, from a point 3 chains
south of its junction with Beach Road to its junction with
Moana Avenue.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waitemata County:
Those portions of the Birkenhead-Maungaturoto State
Highway No. 5, at Orewa, from 35 chains south of its junction
with Red Beach Road to a point 3 chains south of its junction
with Beach Road; and from its junction with Moana Avenue
to a point 10 chains north of its junction with Puriri Road.

   notice are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the
   purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

That portion of the Queenstown-Invercargill State Highway
No. 65, at Dipton, from 3 chains west of its junction with the
