Amending a Licence Authorising John Holt Ltd., Hastings, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Hawke’s Bay

At the Government House at Wellington this 30th day of October 1957
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends, as set forth in the Schedule hereto, the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of July 1957, and published in the Gazette on the 4th day of the same month at page 1249, authorising John Holt Ltd., to erect and use certain electric lines in the County of Hawke’s Bay.

SCHEDULE

  1. Clause (2) (c) of the Schedule thereto is deleted therefrom and the following clause is substituted therefor:
    “(c) In a south-westerly direction generally to three cottages situated in the said Section 35, and thence in a south-easterly direction to a wool shed and shearers’ quarters situated in Lot 2.”
  2. At the end of the Schedule thereto is hereby added the expression “and the plan marked S.H.D. 462 deposited as aforesaid”.

Revoking a Licence Authorising Robert J. Lee, of Cardrona, Central Otago, Sheep Farmer, to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 26th day of April 1938, and published in the Gazette on the 28th day of the same month at page 1020, authorising Robert J. Lee, of Cardrona, Central Otago, sheep farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Being section 7, Block XIII, Waipahi Survey District.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 15032 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Amending Order in Council Vesting Management of Wharves in Kenepuru Road Board

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends as from the 1st day of April 1958 the Order in Council of the 2nd day of July 1952, published in the Gazette, 10 July 1952, Volume II, page 1182, vesting the management of wharves at Onahau and Torea Bays in the Kenepuru Road Board, by omitting from the Second Schedule thereto the words “£1 per annum”, and substituting the words “£4 per annum”.
