NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Geraldine Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, provision of streets and the subdivision of land for housing, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Talbot Street, Geraldine, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Talbot Street, Geraldine.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wallace County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to carry out certain road works, and that for that purpose the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for a gravel pit and access thereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Wallace County Council at Otautau, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of such works or the taking of such lands should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the date of this notice (being the date of the first publication thereof) to the Wallace County Council, Otautau.

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin (hereinafter called "the said corporation") proposes under the provisions of the above mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, to provide further electricity works, and for the purposes of such public work the interest of the lessees in the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the said interests so required to be taken are all the interests of the lessees under and by virtue of memoranda of lease Nos. 10581 and 10642 (Otago Land Registry); and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said interests should, if they have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such interests, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk of the said corporation.

NOTICE is hereby given that I, the undersigned Marion Kerr Steven, of Christchurch, in New Zealand, widow, being a British subject, have, by deed poll dated the 9th day of October 1957 and enrolled in the Supreme Court office at Christchurch under No. M. 145/57, renounced and abandoned my surname of "Logie" and adopted and assumed my maiden surname of "Steven" for all purposes whatsoever, and I hereby expressly authorise and request all persons at all times henceforth to designate and address me by my said maiden name of "Steven" accordingly.
