Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land Subject to Building-line Restrictions

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 9th day of September 1957, subject as to Lots 203, 204, and 205, D.P. 44245, to the building-line restriction imposed by K. 59632, Auckland Land Registry, and subject as to Lot 205, D.P. 44245, and Lots 207, 208, 209, and 244, D.P. 44445, to the building-line restriction imposed by K. 60425, Auckland Land Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Opotiki and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
