Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 20th day of June 1957.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 2 roods 16 perches, situated in Block XI, Mount Robinson Survey District, Borough of Shannon, Wellington R.D., being Lots 1, 2, and 3 on the plan marked P.W.D. 154579 (H.D.P.N. 42776) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green, being part Lot 589, D.P. 369, being part Manawatu-Kukutauaki 2D No. 3, and being all the land in Proclamation No. 5802, Wellington Land Registry.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Subject to an Easement and to Building-line Restrictions, and Revoking Previous Notice

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 29th day of August 1955 and published in Gazette, 1 September 1955, Volume III, page 1384, declaring land taken subject to a drainage easement and to a building-line restriction for a Government work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land subject to the said easement and building-line restriction for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, and, pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948, subject to the building-line restriction imposed by W. 6937, Taranaki Land Registry, subject also as to Lots 10 and 11 described in the said Schedule to the building-line restriction imposed by W. 8401, Taranaki Land Registry, and subject also as to Lots 11 and 12 described in the said Schedule to the drainage and incidental rights created by memorandum of transfer No. 88638, Taranaki Land Registry, as from the 19th day of April 1955.
