WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open to inspection at the office of the Waipa County Council, Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waipa County Council within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Notice is hereby given that the Levin Borough Council at its meeting held on the 16th day of April 1956 has resolved to prepare for the Borough of Levin a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which in his or its opinion should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Levin Borough District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 18th day of November 1957.

WAIPORO BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 8th day of November 1956, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the whole of the Borough of Wairoa. The scheme has been deposited in the Municipal Offices, Coronation Square, Wairoa, and the Public Library, Marine Parade, Wairoa, and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Friday, 31 January 1958. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

TAUPO COUNTY
EASTERN LAKESHORE SECTION OF DISTRICT SCHEME
Notice is hereby given, that, in accordance with a resolution of the Taupo County Council (acting through the Taupo County Commissioner pursuant to the Taupo County Act 1954) made on the 30th day of October 1956, the first section of a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The section of the scheme relates to the eastern shore of Lake Taupo from the Taupo Borough boundary at Edgewater Lodge southwards to and including the settlement of Motuoapa. The section of the scheme is deposited at the county office, Lake Terrace Road, Taupo, and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time during business hours.
Objections to the section of the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954. Copies of the prescribed form are available if required on application to the county office. Objections shall be lodged at the county office at any time not later than the 31st day of January 1958. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the undersigned in writing within a period of which public notice will be given later.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
Subscriptions.-The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, Payable in Advance.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows:
For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram. 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C. 1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
