Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Wellington

Appointed

Pursuant to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister
of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the
Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Wellington for
a term expiring on the 31st day of August 1958:

Frank Leslie Hunt, Chairman; and
Martin Clifton Smith, Deputy Chairman; and
William Alexander McGarry, Sydney Allan Scotland, and
Leonard Benjamin Smith (nominated by the New Zealand
Port Employers' Association Incorporated), and Clarence

bour Board); and
William Lonsdale Garbutt, William Dickson Southworth,
Edward George Thompson, and Thomas Gilmore Wells

Appointment of the South Canterbury Catchment Board to
Control and Manage Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints the South Canterbury Catchment
Board to control and manage the reserves described in the
Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as
reserves for soil conservation and river control purposes.

Appointment of Honorary Officer

Pursuant to section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act 1946,
the Minister of Marine hereby appoints the person named in
