in the Borough of Riccarton, Subject to a Condition as to

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby author-
ises the Riccarton Borough Council to permit the laying
off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for part of their length of less than 66 ft.,
but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no
building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on
the land shown edged green on the plan referred to in the
said Schedule as P.W.D. 154377 within a distance of 15 ft.
from the side lines of the said streets.
SCHEDULE
THOSE two proposed streets in the Canterbury Land District,
Borough of Riccarton, each containing by admeasurement 35
perches, more or less, being parts Rural Section 145.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 154377 deposited in the office of the Minister

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises
the Upper Hutt Borough Council to permit the laying off of
the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a
width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less
than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part
of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown
edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 154409 referred to in
the Schedule hereto, within a distance of 35 ft. from the centre
line of the said street.
SCHEDULE

of Upper Hutt, Wellington R.D., to be known as Prouse
Grove, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 35·67 perches,

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves
of the resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the
22nd day of July 1957, and set out in the First Schedule
hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street
described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Auckland City Council being the Local Authority having
control of the streets in the City of Auckland by resolution
declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public
Works Act 1928 shall not apply to that portion of the northern
side of Castle Drive fronting a subdivision of part Allotment
91, Section 6, Suburbs of Auckland, and being the land
comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1136, folio 100,
Auckland Registry, and shown coloured red on plan marked
A. 1015/4.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the
North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as
Castle Drive, fronting a subdivision of part Allotment 91, of
Section 6, Suburbs of Auckland; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154357 deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares
that, as on and from the 1st day of October 1957, the area
described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the
County of Horowhenua and included in the Borough of Otaki;
and, with the like advice and consent, hereby also declares
that the alteration of boundaries of the said county and the
said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been
effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA AND INCLUDED
IN BOROUGH OF OTAKI
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District situated in
Block VIII, Waitohu Survey District, and bounded by a line
commencing at the intersection of the southern boundary of
part Harurunui No. 1 with the southern boundary of part Lot 1,
as shown on plan numbered 16562 deposited in the office of
the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and being a point
on the boundary of the Borough of Otaki, as described in
Gazette, 1927, at page 1941; thence north-westerly generally
along the southern and western boundaries of part Lot 1
aforesaid to the westernmost corner of that lot, being a point
on the northern side of the old course of the Otaki River and
being also a point on the boundary of the Borough of Otaki
described as aforesaid; thence south-easterly generally along
that boundary to the intersection of the southern boundary of
part Harurunui No. 1 with the southern boundary of part
Lot 1 aforesaid, being the point of commencement.
