A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of September 1957.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood, situated in Block I, Rangitoto Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 89, Turakina District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154402 (S.O. 23875) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of September 1957.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for resubdivision and improvement within the Freeman's Bay reclamation area under Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of September 1957.
