Land Held for Defence Purposes Set Apart for a Public
School in Block X, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto, now held for defence purposes, is hereby
set apart for a public school; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of
September 1957.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District
containing 16·8 perches, situated in Block X, Waitemata
Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part closed road;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 154359 (S.O. 40325) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the seal of New Zealand,
this 19th day of September 1957.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone
exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 30th day of September 1957.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District
containing 14·4 perches, situated in Block IV, Komakorau
Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Lot 2, D.P. 8138,
being part Hangawera Block; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154379 (S.O. 38576)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured sepia.

memorandum of transfer No. 397183 over Lot 24 on D.P.
30210, is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 30th day of September 1957.

All that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District,
situated in the City of Hamilton, containing 32·2 perches,
being Lot 18, D.P. 30210, being part Allotments 58 and 101,
Town of Hamilton West. All certificate of title, Volume 1221,

An Easement Over Land Taken for the Development of Water
Power (Masterton Substation) in Block VIII, Tiffin Survey
District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken
for the development of water power (Masterton Substation)
over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in
Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and
authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct,
cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of drainage pipes under,
along, and over the said land and to use the said line of pipes
for the unimpeded conveyance of water, and to discharge such
water into the watercourse adjoining the said land, such ease-
ment to be held appurtenant to the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District con-
taining 11·32 perches, situated in Block VIII, Tiffin Survey
District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 201, Taratahi
Plain. Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 154265 deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
SECOND SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District con-
taining 5 acres, situated in Block VIII, Tiffin Survey District,
Wellington R.D., being part Section 201, Taratahi Plain Block,
and being also Lot 1 on D.P. 7208. All certificate of title,
Volume 329, folio 218, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 19th day of September 1957.

containing 1 acre and 3·16 perches, situated in Block XIII,
Whangarei Survey District, Borough of Whangarei, Auckland
R.D., and being Allotment 266, Township of Grahamtown, and
being all the land on D.P. 25285. All certificate of title, Vol-
ume 293, folio 89, Auckland Land Registry.
