GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
North Gore Drainage Loan 1957, £5,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gore Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for drainage works, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0•257 pence in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Gore; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Staff Housing Loan 1954, £12,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gore Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for staff housing, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0•298 pence in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Gore; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Water Scheme Completion Loan 1954, £31,500
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gore Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £31,500 authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for water-works improvements and extensions, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 1•458 pence in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Gore; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twelve years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BOROUGH OF MATAMATA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorised to be raised by the Matamata Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase of a fire engine, the said Matamata Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one eighth pence (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rate-able property of the Borough of Matamata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIKOUAITI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Plant Loan 1957 of £10,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikouaiti County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Waikouaiti County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase of plant, the said Waikouaiti County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0•18d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Waikouaiti, comprising of the whole of the County of Waikouaiti; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Extension Loan No. 12 (1957), £100,000
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board’s Reticulation Extension Loan No. 12 (1957) of £100,000, authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Bay of Islands Electric Power District and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate for forty-two/one-hundredths pence (42/100d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Islands Electric Power District; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 12th day of September in each and every year, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Extension and Reinforcement Loan (1957)
£390,000

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and amendments and regulations made thereunder and all other powers it enabling, the Board hereby resolves as follows:
“ That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £390,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Acts in order to provide additional moneys for the purpose of the further reticulation of electric power within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, the Waitemata Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 19/100ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all the rateable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, as defined in the Proclamation proclaiming the said district appearing in the Gazette dated the 18th day of October 1923 and amended by Proclamations appearing in the Gazettes dated the 27th day of November 1924, the 26th day of August 1926, the 7th day of March 1929, the 24th day of January 1935, and the 14th day of April 1954; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twelve years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was carried at a meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board held on the 19th day of August 1957.
