IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and of J. Mercer and Sons (Wellington) Ltd. (in liquidation).

THE liquidator of J. Mercer and Sons (Wellington) Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 7th day of October 1957 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the members of the above company will be held in the offices of Messrs Mitson, Bell, and Co., 24 Water Street, Dunedin, on Monday, 7 October 1957, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding up of the company has been conducted and the assets disposed of and of hearing any explanation that may be required from the liquidator.

PURSUANT to section 269 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that on the 10th day of September 1957 it was resolved as a special resolution:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Harry Elliott Mayer, of Feilding, public accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company."

And notice is further given pursuant to rule 85 that creditors and persons having claims against the company are required to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under the Act by the 20th day of October 1957, by lodging proof thereof at the office of the liquidator, or be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before their debts or claims are proved or from objecting to the distribution.
