Pursuant to section 11 of the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act
1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby declares that the lands described in the
Schedule hereto shall be administered by the Tourist Hotel
Corporation of New Zealand for the purposes of the said
Act.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
Land Attached to Lake House, Waikaremoana, and
Administered Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control
Act 1908
All that area containing 80 acres, more or less, situated in
Blocks XVIII and XIX, Waikaremoana Survey District, being
all the land lying between the main highway and the shore
of Lake Waikaremoana extending approximately 44 chains
north-east and 55 chains south-west from the Lake House.
As shown on the plan marked T.H.C./01 deposited in the
Head Office of the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zea-
land at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area containing 25 acres 2 roods 16 perches,
more or less, situated in Block XIX, Waikaremoana Survey
District, being a strip of land 50 links wide on each side of
the power line to the Lake House where it passes through
Urewera National Park and where it is not included in the
area hereinbefore described. As shown on the plan marked
T.H.C./01 deposited in the Head Office of the Tourist Hotel
Corporation of New Zealand at Wellington, and thereon
edged yellow.
Also all that area containing 2 roods, more or less, situated
in Blocks XVIII and XIX, Waikaremoana Survey District,
being a strip of land 10 ft. wide on each side of the water-
supply pipelines to the Lake House, and including the dam,
intake, storage tanks, and fire-fighting storage reservoir where
the same is not included in the two areas hereinbefore
described. As shown on the plan marked T.H.C./01 deposited
in the Head Office of the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New
Zealand at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.
All the above-mentioned areas being portions of Urewera
National Park.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
Land Attached to Chateau Tongariro and Administered
Under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act 1908
All that area containing 57 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more
or less, known as the hostel site, being part Okahukura No. 8
Block, situated in Block III, Ruapehu Survey District, and
being the whole of the area numbered 1 on plan 18700
deposited in the Wellington District Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area containing 1 acre 3 roods 17 perches,
more or less, known as the Whakapapa Huts site, being part
Okahukura No. 8 Block, situated in Block III, Ruapehu
Survey District, and being the whole of the area numbered
2 on plan 18700 deposited in the Wellington District Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area containing 84 acres 1 rood 38 perches,
more or less, being part Okahukura No. 8 Block, situated in
Block III, Ruapehu Survey District, being the whole of the
area numbered 6 on plan 18819 deposited in the Wellington
District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon
edged red.
Also all that area containing 3 roods 38 perches, more or
less, being part Okahukura No. 8 Block, situated in Block
III, Ruapehu Survey District, being the whole of the area
numbered 7 on plan 18880 deposited in the Wellington
District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon
edged red.
Also all that area containing 3 perches, more or less, being
part Okahukura No. 8 Block, situated in Block III, Ruapehu
Survey District, being the whole of the area numbered 8 on
plan 18880 deposited in the Wellington District Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, and thereon edged red.
All the above-mentioned areas being portions of Tongariro
National Park.
