Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Waikohu
(Notice No. Ag. 6371)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950; the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Waikohu County Council on the 19th day of August 1957.
SPECIAL ORDER
RESOLVED by way of special order and in accordance with section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 that thornapple or Jimson weed (Datura stramonium), being a plant included in the First Schedule to the said Act, and barberry (Berberis darwinii), being a plant added to the First Schedule of the said Act by the Noxious Weeds Extension Order (1953/68), be declared noxious weeds within the whole of the County of Waikohu.

(Notice No. Ag. 6368)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Assistant Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Levels County Council on the 7th day of August 1957.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Levels County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that the plants named in the Schedule hereto be declared noxious weeds within the whole of the County of Levels.

(Notice No. Ag. 6372)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Deputy Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Ashburton County Council on the 16th day of August 1957.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, pursuant to the provision of section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Council of the County of Ashburton hereby resolves by way of special order that St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) and Burdock (Arctium, any species) shall be declared noxious weeds within the County of Ashburton.

(Notice No. Ag. 6376)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Deputy Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Eketahuna County Council on the 15th day of August 1957.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT the Eketahuna County Council resolve by way of special order that the following weeds be declared noxious weeds within the County of Eketahuna under section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950:
Barberry (Berberis darwinii)
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus)
Milk thistle (Silybum marianum)
Sweetbrier (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa)

Infected Area Declared Under the Citrus Canker Regulations 1952 (Notice No. Ag. 6375)
PURSUANT to the Citrus Canker Regulations 1952, notice is hereby given that the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto has been declared to be an infected area for the purposes of the said regulations.

ALL that piece of land containing 51 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 6565, and part Sections 8 and 9, Huirangi District.
