Declaring Land Held for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 22nd day of July 1957.

ALL those pieces of land in the Wellington Land District containing 3 roods 12.55 perches, situated in the Borough of Featherston, Wellington R.D., and being Lots 30, 31, and 32, D.P. 15462, and Lot 33, D.P. 15328, parts Sections 101, 103, and 105, Town of Featherston. Part certificate of title, Volume 563, folio 183, Wellington Land Registry.

Assent to Agreement for Grant of Easement in Favour of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd., aLimited Liability Company Having its Registered Office at Hamilton, Over Land in Raglan County Taken for State Housing Purposes
WHEREAS, by a Proclamation dated the 2nd day of April 1957, and published in Gazette, No. 27, of the 4th day of April 1957, at page 572, an area of land containing 1 rood, being part Allotment 85, Horotiu Parish, situated in Block XV, Newcastle Survey District, was taken for State housing purposes:
And whereas the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. was entitled to receive compensation for the taking of the said land:
And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to the said New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. the right to pipe water under the aforesaid land in addition to the payment of a sum of money in full satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid:
And whereas the said New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. has agreed to accept such grant of easement and sum of money in full satisfaction of the said compensation:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Blocks II and VI, Waitara Survey District, for Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Waitara and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the public work or to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Revoking Warrant Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality
Pursuant to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated 17 June 1952, which refers to the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SITUATED within Springs County:
All that area at Burnham consisting of that portion of the Christchurch-Timaru State Highway No. 58 commencing at a point 20 chains measured along the said highway in a north-easterly direction from its junction with Aylesbury Road and terminating at a point 40 chains measured along the said highway in a south-westerly direction from the commencing point; also that portion of Burnham Road commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Timaru State Highway No. 58 and terminating at a point 3 chains measured along the said road in a south-easterly direction from the said junction.
Situated within Malvern, Paparua, and Springs Counties:
All that area at Burnham consisting of that portion of Aylesbury Road commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Timaru State Highway No. 58 and terminating at a point 45 chains measured along the said road in a north-westerly direction from the said junction.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 10) 1957
Pursuant to regulation 15 of the Import Control Regulations 1938,* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 10) 1957.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 30th day of August 1957. - Goods of the classes specified in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country other than the countries specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
