THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
BOROUGH OF MANUREWA
SPECIAL ORDER
"THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and of all
other powers and authorities it thereunto enabling, the Manurewa Borough Council hereby resolves by special resolution intended to operate as a special order that for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £40,000 (hereinafter referred to as "the said loan"), being the second portion of the loan of £208,000 known as the Sewerage Loan 1954, the said loan being authorised to be raised by the Manurewa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a sewerage scheme within the Borough of Manurewa, the said Manurewa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1·125d. (one decimal one two five pence) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Manurewa comprising the whole of the Borough of Manurewa; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off."
The common seal of the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Manurewa was hereunto affixed in pursuance of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Manurewa Borough Council held on the 12th day of August 1957 in the presence of—

I certify that the foregoing special resolution intended to operate as a special order was passed at a special meeting of the Manurewa Borough Council convened for that purpose and held on the 16th day of July 1957, and was confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 12th day of August 1957, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star newspaper on the 19th day of July 1957 and on the 9th day of August 1957.

(decimal four nought pence) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Manurewa comprising the whole of the Borough of Manurewa; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off."

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND AND TO STOP ROAD
Notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and to stop the road described in the Second Schedule.
A plan showing the land proposed to be taken, and the road proposed to be stopped, is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice; all persons having well grounded objections to the above-mentioned proposals are hereby called upon to set forth their objections in writing and to lodge the same in the office of the Council on or before the 19th day of September 1957.
FIRST SCHEDULE
1 acre 3 roods 32·1 perches, being part Lot 196, Deposited Plan No. 19565, Te Puna Parish, Block IX, Tauranga Survey District, shown coloured yellow on Survey Office Plan No. 37274 (South Auckland Land District).
SECOND SCHEDULE
That portion of road containing an area of 2 acres 3 roods 11·4 perches, passing through or adjoining the said Lot 196, Deposited Plan No. 19565, and Allotments 179 and 209, Te Puna Parish, shown coloured green on the said Survey Office Plan.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land described in the Schedule hereto.
A plan showing the portions of land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
