Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land and Revoking Previous Notice

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated 2 July 1957 and published in Gazette, 4 July 1957, No. 48, page 1258, declaring land acquired for a Government work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 and, pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 26th day of August 1957.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 2 roods 0·6 perch, situated in Block V, Southbridge Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being Lot 29, D.P. 44, being part Rural Sections 3344 and 4041, Southbridge Town District.
