Declaring Lands in South Auckland and Westland Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Lot 2, D.P. 28887, being part Motumao ho No. 2 Block, situated in Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District: Area, 1 rood, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 715, folio 384.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 1130 (formerly Sections 17, 18, and 19, Town of Roa), situated in Block II, Mawheranui Survey District: Area, 3 roods 1Β·58 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 29, folio 236. (S.O. Plan 1135.)

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of August 1957.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of Crown land in the South Auckland Land District containing 15Β·3 perches, situated in Block IX, Tauranga Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Allotment 453, Te Papa Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153579 (S.O. 38022) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of August 1957.
