AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, resubdivision and improvement within the Freeman's Bay Reclamation Area under Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.
SCHEDULE
9·5 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 6 of Section 47 of the Town of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 753, folio 281, Auckland Registry (limited as to parcels and title).

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Panmure Bridge Renewal Loan 1955, £15,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) authorised to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act for meeting the said Council's share of the cost of renewing Panmure Bridge on the Ellerslie-Howick Main Highway, the said Manukau County Council hereby makes a special rate of one-seventieth of a penny (1/70d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Manukau County Council held on the 30th day of July 1957.

PALMERSTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Palmerston Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,800 authorised to be raised by the Palmerston Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a staff dwelling, the said Palmerston Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Palmerston Borough comprising the whole of the Borough of Palmerston; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Palmerston Borough Council on 6 August 1957.

MANDEVILLE RABBIT BOARD
NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER RAISING A LOAN
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mandeville Rabbit Board hereby resolves by way of special order as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) authorised to be raised by the Mandeville Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for staff housing, the said Mandeville Rabbit Board hereby makes a special rate of one and three-fifths pence (1⅗d.) per acre on all the rateable property of the Mandeville Rabbit District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Gordon; thence running in a south-easterly direction across County Road and then through Sections 24 and 33, Block V; thence running along the boundary between 45, 44, 43, and 46, Block V, and then through Sections 52, 53, 54, 55, 40, and 56, Block V; thence through Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block II, Shotover, freehold of J. D. Allan to applicant Allan's house; thence continuing still in a south-easterly direction through said Section 3, Block II, Shotover; thence across County Road into Section 7, Block II, Shotover, freehold of applicant Ian Wilson Brown, and then through Sections 8 and 9, Block II, freehold of Brown, into Section 10, Block II, Shotover, and terminating at applicant Brown's house.
