MEMBERS’ VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 269 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, that by special resolution of shareholders of Khyber Pass Motors Ltd., dated the 6th day of August 1957, it was resolved:

“That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Lewis Nathan Ross, of Auckland, public accountant, be and is hereby appointed as liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE TO CREDITORS TO PROVE

The liquidator of Khyber Pass Motors Ltd. does hereby fix the 20th day of September 1957 as the day on or before which creditors of the company have to prove their claims or debts and to establish priority (if any) under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, otherwise they may be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made before such claims or debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objection to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 7th day of August 1957 presented to the said Court by David Lyall Lovat Landreth, of Owaka, engineer, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Dunedin on the 4th day of September 1957 at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

BOROUGH OF ONE TREE HILL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the One Tree Hill Borough Council made on the 2nd day of August 1955, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of One Tree Hill. The scheme has been deposited in the office of the Auckland Regional Planning Authority, Princes Street, Auckland, and in the Council Chambers of the One Tree Hill Borough Council and is there for inspection (without fee) to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 10th day of November 1957. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLlC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Stratford Borough Council made on the 11th day of September 1956, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Stratford. The scheme has been deposited in the public library and the office of the Council, Municipal Buildings, Broadway, Stratford, and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954 and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Tuesday, 12 November 1957. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Ngaruawahia Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 10th day of April 1957, has resolved to prepare for the Ngaruawahia Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Ngaruawahia Borough District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk, Ngaruawahia, and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office, Ngaruawahia, on or before the 31st day of October 1957.

NORTH SHORE DRAINAGE DISTRICT

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the North Shore Drainage Act 1951 and the Public Works Act 1928 and their respective amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the North Shore Drainage Board proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of certain treatment works and oxidation ponds at Rosedale Road, Albany, in the County of Waitemata, in connection with and as part of the main scheme of sewerage works (known as the amended No. 1 scheme) proposed for the North Shore Drainage District, and for the purposes of such public work the land (inter alia) described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Secretary to the said Board, situate at No. 32 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Board at his office, No. 32 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna.
