River; thence southerly along the middle of the Waiohine
and Ruamahanga Rivers and easterly up the middle of the
Pohaturiki Stream, along the southern boundary of Lot 4 as
shown on plan numbered 16601 deposited in the office of the
District Land Registrar at Wellington, and down the middle

line commencing at Mount Marchant Trig. Station in Block
V, Eritonga Survey District being a point on the western
boundary of that county hereinbefore described, and pro-
ceeding along a bearing of 135° to the middle of the
Tauherenikau River; thence south-easterly along the middle
of that river and the middle of the Featherston-Martinborough
Main Highway to the middle of the Ruamahanga River;
thence northerly along the middle of that river to the north-
eastern boundary of the County of Featherston; thence
north-westerly along that boundary to the point of commence-
ment, excluding therefrom the Borough of Greytown, herein-

Defined
PURSUANT to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set
out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the Borough of
Oamaru, the County of Waitaki, and the Kakanui and Wai-
reka Ridings of the County of Waitaki, the previous bound-
aries having been altered by Order in Council made on 22
May 1957 and published in Gazette, 23 May 1957, No. 39,
