Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Subject to a Building-line Restriction and Subject as to Parts to Certain Rights

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 29th day of July 1957, subject to the building-line restriction contained in notice K. 38796, Wellington Land Registry, and subject as to Lot 5, D.P. 18837, to the drainage easement created in and by memorandum of transfer No. 395077, Wellington Land Registry, and as to Lot 12, D.P. 18837, to the drainage easement created in and by memorandum of transfer No. 395078, Wellington Land Registry.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953: Borough of Riccarton-- Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Riccarton Borough Council in the interests of the Riccarton Borough District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of November 1957 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of November 1958.
