HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 53 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to invest in debentures of the loans shown in the first column of the First Schedule hereto, the sums shown in the second column of the First Schedule hereto, out of its funds shown in the first column of the Second Schedule hereto, provided that the investment out of such funds shall not exceed the sums shown in the second column of the Second Schedule hereto.

The Blockhouse Bay Post-primary School Board of Governors Order 1957

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 7th day of August 1957
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Blockhouse Bay Post-primary School Board of Governors Order 1957.
- The constitution of the Board of Governors of the Blockhouse Bay Post-primary School, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board:
(b) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, of which members one shall be a woman:
(c) One member appointed by the Governor-General:
(d) One member appointed by the Mount Roskill Borough Council:
(e) Three members elected by the members of the school committees of the Blockhouse Bay Public School, the Glen Avon Public School, the May Road Public School, and the Waikowhai Public School:
(f) One member to be co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit:
Provided that, until the school is opened and the election of members by the parents of the pupils attending the school is held, the school shall be controlled by a Board consisting of the other members. - The Minister of Education may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which paragraph (e) of clause 2 of this order applies.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 19 of the Land Valuation Court Act 1948, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby establishes and gives name to the Waikato Land Valuation Committee No. 1, the Waikato Land Valuation Committee No. 2, and the Waikato Land Valuation Committee No. 3.

Officer Authorised to Take Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 301 of the Justices of the Peace Act 1927, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government hereby authorises Walter Bernard Harris, being Supervisor of Teaching Aids, Department of Education, Wellington, to take and receive statutory declarations under that section.
