CORRIGENDA
IN the Proclamation dated the 25th day of February 1957 taking land for Post and Telegraph purposes in Block IX, Komakorau Survey District, and Block VII, Rangiriri Survey District, and published in Gazette, 28 February 1957, No. 15, page 307, in the description of the area first described read “Part Lot 4, D.P. 29312” for “Part Lot 3, D.P. 29312”.

IN the notice published in Gazette, 18 July 1957, No. 51, page 1335, under the heading “Wholesalers Licences Under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33, Granted, Surrendered, or Revoked”, for the words “Educational Instruments Ltd. 31/3/57 Auckland”, read “Educational Instruments Ltd. 28/2/57 Auckland”.

Declaring Lands in South Auckland, Gisborne, and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Hawke’s Bay Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the lands described in the Second and Third Schedules hereto, being areas vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

PART of the land shown on D.P. 7782, and Lots 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 9744, being parts Patuwhao Block, situated in Block V, Aroha Survey District: Total area, 2 acres 2 roods, more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 237, folio 174, and Volume 443, folio 213.
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1236A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
