Town and Country Planning Act 1953-City of Hamilton
(Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals
and Prohibitions)

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the
period of effectiveness of refusals and prohibitions made by
the Hamilton City Council in the interests of the Hamilton
City district scheme under either subsection (2) of the said
section or section 34 of the Town Planning Act 1926 and
extended to the 1st day of February 1957 by notice published
in Gazette, 26 January 1956, page 66, is hereby further extended
to the 1st day of February 1958 for all such refusals
and prohibitions.

Given under the hand of the Minister of Works at Wellington
this 17th day of January 1957.

26 January 1956, page 67, is hereby further extended to the
1st day of February 1958 for all such refusals and prohibitions.

Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the
period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by
the Manukau County Council in the interests of the Manukau
County district scheme under subsection (2) of the said section
and extended to the 1st day of February 1957 by notice published
in Gazette, 12 April 1956, No. 23, page 509, and of
each other refusal or prohibition made by the Manukau
County as aforesaid, which refusal or prohibition but
for this notice would expire between the date of public
notification hereof and the 1st day of February 1958, is hereby
extended to the said 1st day of February 1958.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of
clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as
they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not
apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof
the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade
motor in the course of their employment for the employers
described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not
authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years,
to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations

column 1 of the said Schedule
