Waihi Swamp Drainage Area—Penalty on Overdue Rates
Pursuant to section 76 of the Rating Act 1925 and the
Swamp Drainage Act 1915 and its amendments, the ratepayers
within the Waihi Drainage Area are hereby notified that 10
per cent additional will be added to all rates for the year
ending 31 March 1957 unpaid on 15 March 1957.
Rates may be paid at any money-order office or to the
Collector of Rates, Lands and Survey Department, P.O. Box
2205, Auckland C. 1.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Gisborne City Council and
Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the City of Gisborne and revokes the reservation
for a site for municipal and Harbour Board offices over
the land described in the Schedule hereto.

period of effectiveness of refusals and prohibitions made by
the Devonport Borough Council in the interests of the
Devonport Borough district scheme under either subsection (2)
of the said section or section 34 of the Town Planning Act
1926 and extended to 1 February 1957 by notice published in
Gazette, 26 January 1956, page 67, is hereby further extended
to the 1st day of February 1958 for all such refusals and
prohibitions.
