OWAKA RABBIT BOARD

NOTICE is hereby given that, at the meeting of the Owaka Rabbit Board held on 7 May 1957, the following resolution was passed.

“That a special rate of ½d. (one halfpenny) per acre of rateable property appearing on the ratepayers list be and is hereby struck, such rate to be for security of the Staff Housing Loan.”

TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be raised by the Te Awamutu Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of a dwelling for the Borough Engineer, the said Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby make a special rate of 0·08d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Te Awamutu, comprising the whole of the Borough of Te Awamutu; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The common seal of the Te Awamutu Borough Council was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Council in the presence of--

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand pounds (£6,000) authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for street improvements, the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one-tenth of a penny (0·1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Pukekohe comprising the whole of the Borough of Pukekohe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council held on the 30th day of July 1957.

WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Lines Extension and Improvement Loan 1957, £48,000

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1956, the Wairere Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £48,000 known as the Lines Extension and Improvement Loan 1957 and authorised to be raised by the Wairere Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing extensions and improvements to the reticulation system, the said Wairere Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Wairere Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wairere Electric Power Board held on the 25th day of July 1957.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Electricity Loan 1956 of £250,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£250,000) to be known as the Wellington City Electricity Loan 1956 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a maintenance and workshop building and heavy storage building in Webb Street, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of ninety-seven eight-hundredths of a penny (97/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period not exceeding twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 5th day of August 1957.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Water Services Loan 1955 of £150,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£150,000) to be known as the Wellington City Water Services Loan 1955 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and improving the water-supply system of the City, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of sixty-five eight-hundredths of a penny (65/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period not exceeding twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 5th day of August 1957.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £34,000 to be known as the Waterworks Redemption Loan 1957 authorised to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting deficient sinking funds on the maturity of the Waterworks Extension Redemption Loan 1927, £107,000, exchange on principal moneys due on London and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-elevenths of one penny (3/11d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of six (6) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
