WAITOMO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Load Control and Development Loan 1957 of £40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £40,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitomo Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing load-control equipment and for additions and extensions to the existing reticulation system of the Waitomo Electric Power District, the Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of eleven-fiftieths of a penny (11/50d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waitomo Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MOUNT MAUNGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Tautau Water Supply Development Loan 1954 (£220,000), Fourth Issue of £35,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £35,000 authorised to be raised by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a supply of water to the Borough of Mount Maunganui and for the provision of land, easements, plant, and buildings ancillary to the establishment of such supply, the said Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths pence (3/8d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property of the Borough of Mount Maunganui; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council held on the 30th day of July 1957.

TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
NOTICE is hereby given that the Taieri County Council, at its meeting held on 26 July 1957, has resolved to prepare for the Taieri County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the above Act.
The approval of the Minister of Works has been obtained, and the scheme will be prepared in sections as follows:
- Fairfield Section.
- Wingatui Section.
- Brighton Section.
- Kuri Bush Section.
- Outram Section.
- Middlemarch Section.
- Rural Zone Section (i.e., the remainder of the County).
A plan showing the boundaries of these sections can be inspected at the Council's offices, Mosgiel, during ordinary office hours.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked "Taieri County Council District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered to the County Clerk's office on or before the 5th day of October 1957.

Notice is hereby given that the Whangarei Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 3rd day of July 1957, has resolved to prepare for the parts thereof described in the Schedule to this notice, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked "Whangarei District Scheme" should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered to the Town Clerk's office on or before the 1st day of October 1957.

PARTS OF BOROUGH FOR WHICH A DISTRICT SCHEME IS TO BE PREPARED
Those parts of the borough previously administered by the Whangarei County Council prior to 1 April 1957 and lying generally in the vicinity of Whangarei-Onerahi Main Highway together with that part of the borough previously administered by the Onerahi Town Council prior to 1 April 1957.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
In the matter of a Private Bill intituled "An Act to extend the powers of The Presbyterian Church Property Trustees constituted under the provisions of the Presbyterian Church Property Act 1885 so as to enable the said trustees to amalgamate investments and money of trust funds now and hereafter to be held by or vested in the said trustees."
Notice is hereby given that the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees, a body corporate constituted under the Presbyterian Church Property Act 1885 (hereinafter referred to as "the said trustees") intends to apply to the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled for leave to bring in the above-mentioned Bill, the short title of which is The Presbyterian Church Property Trustees Empowering Act 1957.
The objects of the Bill are: (a) to enable the said trustees to amalgamate investments and money of trust funds now and hereafter to be held by or vested in the said trustees; (b) to define the type of investments and the mode of amalgamation thereof; (c) to define the mode in which all moneys so amalgamated shall be invested and dealt with.
The promoter of the Bill is the said The Presbyterian Church Property Trustees whose address for service of notices and communications is at the offices of its duly appointed solicitors, Messrs Macalister, Mazengarb, Parkin, and Rose, 21 Brandon Street, Wellington, where a copy of the Bill may be inspected.
Printed copies of the Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, on or before the 26th day of July 1957.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
Subscriptions.--The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, Payable in Advance.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows:
For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C. 1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
