Notice of Intention to Take Land and Easements Over Land in the Township of Tokaanu for Sewage Treatment Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a sewage treatment plant, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto and easements over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, first, full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of sewer pipes and water pipes under, along, or over the said land and to convey sewage and water through the said pipes, and, secondly, full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, such easements to be held appurtenant thereto, are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken and of the land in respect of which the easement is so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tokaanu and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land or the taking of the said easements over land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land or to the taking of such easements over land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 28·3 perches, situated in Block X, Puketi Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 16B, Tokaanu Township, Block I; coloured yellow on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 29·7 perches, situated in Block X, Puketi Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 16B, Tokaanu Township, Block I; coloured sepia on plan.
