Land Taken for a Fire Station in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 71 of the
Fire Services Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honour-
able Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the
Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for a fire station and shall vest in the Christchurch Fire
Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 5th day of August 1957.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District con-
taining 16.6 perches, situated in the City of Christchurch,
being part Lot 161, D.P. 13, being part Rural Section 2. All
certificate of title, Volume 273, folio 4, Canterbury Land
Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 30th day of July 1957.

City of Palmerston North

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General
the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Govern-
ment; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 5th day of August 1957.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District con-
taining 19 perches, situated in the City of Palmerston North,
Wellington R.D., and being Lot 22, Deeds Plan 451, being
part Section 328, Township of Palmerston North. All certifi-
cate of title, Volume 64, folio 259, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 30th day of July 1957.

Rangitoto Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General
the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 5th day of August 1957.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District
containing 3.4 perches, situated in Block X, Rangitoto Survey
District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 2, D.P. 28349,
being part Allotment 57, Pakuranga Parish; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
153928 (S.O. 40307) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 30th day of July 1957.
