WAIRUA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1920 and its amendments,
and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its
amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairoa County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work, namely a road, and for the
purpose of such public work the lands described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the lands so required to be
taken is deposited in the office of the said Council, situated
at Queen Street, Wairoa, and is open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands who have any well
grounded objections thereto must state their objections in
writing and send the same within forty days after the date
of the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk
at the Council Chambers.

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND TO CLOSE
PORTION OF ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928 and its amendments, to execute a public work, namely,
the taking of land for road as described in the First Schedule
hereto, and to stop the portion of road described in the
Second Schedule hereto; and notice is further given that a
plan of the land required to be taken and of the portion of
road to be closed is deposited in the public office of the
Coromandel County Council, situated at Kapanga Road,
Coromandel, and is open for inspection without fee by all
persons during office hours; all persons affected by the taking
of the said land or by the closing of the said portion of road
who have any well grounded objections to such taking or
such closing must state their objections in writing and send the
same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this
notice to the Coromandel County Council at its said office
at Coromandel, i.e., before the 3rd day of September 1957.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 2.4 perches, more or less,
being part Tangiaro Block and part of the land described in
conveyance 672p (Index 10166), and being the land coloured
blue on S.O. Plan 37552, situated in Coromandel County,
and Block I, Harataunga Survey District.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 8 acres 2 roods 6 perches,
more or less, being part Tangiaro Block and Lot 1 on Depo-
sited Plan 22922, being part Tangiaronui and part Tangiaro
No.1 Block, and being the land coloured green on S.O. Plan
37552, situated in Coromandel County, and Block I, Hara-
taunga Survey District.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County
Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land described in
the Schedule hereto.
A plan showing the portions of land proposed to be taken
lies open to public inspection at the office of the Tauranga
County Council, 225 Cameron Road, Tauranga, during forty
(40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice;
all persons wishing to object to the proposals must lodge their
objections in writing at the office of the Council on or before
the 21st day of August 1957.

CENTRAL WAIKATO ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan (1957), £180,000
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Central
Waikato Electric Power Board held on 17 July 1957, the
following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments and to all other powers it thereunto enabling, the
Central Waikato Electric Power Board hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Reticula-
tion Loan 1957 of £180,000 authorised to be raised by the
Central Waikato Electric Power Board for the purpose of
financing further extensions and improvements to its reticula-
tion system, the Central Waikato Electric Power Board hereby
makes and levies a special rate of decimal 1471 of a penny
in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
capital value) of all rateable property in the Central Waikato
Electric Power District, as the same is defined by Proclamation
published in the Gazette on the 27th day of July 1939 at
page 2042; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be
payable annually on the 1st day of October in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
In the matter of a Private Bill intituled "An Act to extend
the powers of The Presbyterian Church Property Trustees
constituted under the provisions of the Presbyterian
Church Property Act 1885 so as to enable the said
trustees to amalgamate investments and money of trust funds now and hereafter to be held by or vested in the said trustees."
NOTICE is hereby given that the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees, a body corporate constituted under the Presbyterian Church Property Act 1885 (hereinafter referred to as "the said trustees") intends to apply to the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled for leave to bring in the above-mentioned Bill, the short title of which is The Presbyterian Church Property Trustees Empowering Act 1957.
The objects of the Bill are: (a) to enable the said trustees to amalgamate investments and money of trust funds now and hereafter to be held by or vested in the said trustees; (b) to define the type of investments and the mode of amalgamation thereof; (c) to define the mode in which all moneys so amalgamated shall be invested and dealt with.
The promoter of the Bill is the said The Presbyterian Church Property Trustees whose address for service of notices and communications is at the offices of its duly appointed solicitors, Messrs Macalister, Mazengarb, Parkin, and Rose, 21 Brandon Street, Wellington, where a copy of the Bill may be inspected.
Printed copies of the Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, on or before the 26th day of July 1957.
