HOWICK BOROUGH COUNCIL

Town and Country Planning Act 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Howick Borough Council made on the 11th day of June 1957, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Howick. The scheme has been deposited in the Howick Borough Council office and the Howick Public Library, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 28th day of October 1957. At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953

NOTICE is hereby given that the Te Kuiti Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 17th day of June 1957, has resolved to prepare for the Te Kuiti Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked "Te Kuiti Borough District Scheme" should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered to the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 30th day of November 1957.

THE UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL

Town and Country Planning Act 1953

Pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Upper Hutt Borough was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 15th day of July 1957, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all variations of the scheme required by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of August 1957.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in the Upper Hutt Public Library, and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Featherston County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act to execute a certain public work, namely, a public road; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken:

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Kitchener Street, Martinborough, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kitchener Street, Martinborough.
