Declaring Lands in North Auckland and South Auckland
Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and South Auckland
Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested
in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is
provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any
other Act, the Governor-General may, from time to time,
by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a
school site which, in his opinion is no longer required for
that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon
the school site, or part thereof; as the case may be, shall vest
in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encum-
brances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of
the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of
the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland
Education Board, and the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland
Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested
in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every
educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Allotment 191A, Parish of Mareretu, situated in Block
VIII, Matakoh Survey District: Area, i acre, more or less.
All certificate of title, Volume 333, folio 240. As shown on
the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1054A deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Lots 9 to 13 (inclusive) and Lots 20 to 24 (inclusive) of

ated in Block III, Waihi North Survey District: Total area,
3 roods 30 perches, more or less. All certificate of title,
Volume 479, folio 259.

Crown Land Set Apart for Police Purposes in the City of
Invercargill

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart
for police purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 15th day of July 1957.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of Crown land in the Southland Land District
containing 33 perches, situated in the City of Invercargill,
being Lot 241, D.P. 4363, being part Section 34, Block I,
Invercargill Hundred. Part of the land contained in Proclama-
tion No. 2081, Southland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 4th day of July 1957.

the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway (Portion of

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for better
utilisation, is hereby set apart for a portion of the Wellington-
Napier via Woodville Railway (portion of Rimutaka Railway
Deviation); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 15th day of July 1957.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District, con-
taining 20 acres 3 roods 14 perches, situated in Block XIV,
Akatarawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Sec-
tions 298 and 299, Hutt District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 153441 (S.O. 23498) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

set apart for a post office; and I also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of July
1957.

ALL that piece of Crown land in the North Auckland Land
District containing 1 rood, situated in Block III, Waitemata
Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being Allotment 332,
Parish of Paremoremo; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked 20799 lodged in the office of
the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 4th day of July 1957.
