Licensing the Ngakuta Boating Club to Use and Occupy Part
of the Foreshore at Ngakuta Bay, Queen Charlotte Sound
as a Site for a Jetty
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits the Ngakuta Boating Club (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Ngakuta Bay in Queen Charlotte Sound, as shown on plan marked M.D., 8641 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of July 1957.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).
- The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said jetty shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Notifying the Exchange of State Forest Land in the North Auckland Land District for Other Land
NOTICE is hereby given that the area described in the First Schedule hereto has been acquired as permanent State forest land by way of exchange for the area described in the Second Schedule hereto, pursuant to section 22 of the Forests Act 1949.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the Chatham Islands County (Notice No. Ag. 6321)
PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Chatham Islands County Council on the 12th day of June 1957.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Council of the Chatham Islands County hereby resolves by way of special order that Variegated (or milk) thistle and Ragwort be declared as noxious weeds within the County of Chatham Islands.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Patauaki Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 16 March 1938 and published in the Gazette, 24 March 1938, Volume I, page 523.
