Rules of Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation Society Approved

Pursuant to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the
Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the rules
of the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation Society have been approved
by him under that subsection.

Agreement for Grant of Easement (Drainage Pipe Line) in
Favour of Ian Ferguson Thomson (Administrator in the
Estate of G. H. Thomson, Deceased), of Milton, Solicitor,
Over Land in the Township of Milton

Whereas by a Proclamation dated the 11th day of May 1957
and published in the Gazette of 16 May 1957, page 827, all
that piece of land containing 1 acre and 9 perches, being
Lots 26, 36, 37 and part Lots 38 and 39, Block VIII, Deeds
Plan 6, being part Section 137, Block XVII, Tokomairiro
Survey District, situated in the Borough of Milton, was taken
for railway purposes:

And whereas Ian Ferguson Thomson (administrator in the
estate of G. H. Thomson, deceased), of Milton, solicitor, is
entitled to compensation in respect of the freehold interest
in the said land:

And whereas the Minister of Railways has agreed to grant
to the said Ian Ferguson Thomson a right to lay a drainage
pipe under the land described in the Schedule hereto in part
satisfaction of the said compensation:

Now, therefore, the Minister of Railways hereby gives notice,
pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he
assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.
