THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 6th day of April 1949 and published in the Gazette on the 13th day of the same month, at page 903, authorising Edward William Low, of Longford, Murchison, farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect certain electric lines, the rights, powers, and privileges under the said Order in Council having been assigned to Allen Edward Sagar, of Matiri Valley, Murchison, farmer.

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Orders in Council specified in the Schedule hereto, authorising the Westland Electric Power Board to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use electric lines, the powers vested or conferred by the said Orders in Council having been delegated to Westland Power Ltd., by extending the duration of the said Orders in Council until the 4th day of July 1959.

PURSUANT to section 39 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint
Frank Felix Reid, Esquire, of Christchurch, Stipendiary Magistrate, being a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand;
Geoffrey Tremaine, Esquire, O.B.E., of Palmerston North, barrister and solicitor, being a person nominated by the Executive Committee of the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated;
William Francis McArthur, Esquire, of Christchurch, being a person nominated by the Executive Committee of the New Zealand Counties Association Incorporated; and Cuthbert Hargreaves Taylor, Esquire, of Wellington, barrister and solicitor,
to be members of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board from and including the 8th day of July 1957.
