Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Hihitahi

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Rangitikei County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

The Tataraimaka Cemetery Order 1957

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 24th day of June 1957

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOIYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Tataraimaka Cemetery Order 1957.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1957. - The Taranaki County Council is hereby appointed to be the trustee of the Tataraimaka Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes of the Cemeteries Act 1908.
- (1) The delegation to the Taranaki County Council of the powers of appointing and removing trustees of the said cemetery made by Order in Council dated the 18th day of September 1933* is hereby revoked.
(2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly amended by omitting from the second column of the Schedule the word “Tataraimaka”, where it appears opposite the reference to the Taranaki County Council in the first column of that Schedule.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District containing 2 acres and 28 perches, more or less, being part Section 19, Tataraimaka District, Block II, Cape Survey District, comprised in Deeds Index Volume 14, folio 258, Taranaki Registry.
