A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of road in the North Auckland Land District containing 4-8 perches, situated in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining part Allotment 279, Waiwera Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153618 (S.O. 40123) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of June 1957.

Defining the Middle Line of the Dunedin-Mosgiel Motorway in Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District, Blocks VI and VII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and in Green Island West Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed over Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District, Blocks VI and VII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and Green Island West Survey District, viz., the Dunedin-Mosgiel motorway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the lands situated within the limits of the area bounded by broken red lines shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 152007 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 18th day of June 1953 and published in the Gazette, 25 June 1953, Volume II, page 962, defining the middle line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway in so far it affects part Lot 3, D.P. 571, part Rural Section 902, situated in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District. All certificate of title, Volume 198, folio 127, Canterbury Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of June 1957.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of additional land taken: 33-6 perchces.
Being part land on D.P. 27312, being part Allotment 2, Section 17, Suburbs of Auckland.
Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of One Tree Hill. (S.O. 40029.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14771 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Declaring the New River Hundred Rabbit District and the South Hillend Rabbit District to be United to Form the Oreti Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 6310)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of June 1957
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction Council, hereby declares the New River Hundred Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 14th day of March 1932, and the South Hillend Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 16th day of July 1941, to be united and to form one district having the name of the Oreti Rabbit District; and further declares that the basis on which the Rabbit Board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land occupied by the ratepayer.
