Port Conciliation Committee for Port of Port Chalmers
Appointed
Pursuant to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister
of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the
Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Port Chalmers
for a term of one year expiring on 30 April 1958:
Arthur Selby Dalgliesh, Chairman; and
Herbert Spencer Watson, Deputy Chairman; and
James Alexander Glass, John Alexander McPhail, and John
James Parker (nominated by the New Zealand Port
Employers' Association Incorporated); and
Nicolas John Montgomery (nominated by the General
Manager of Railways); and
Norman Agnew, Neil Crichton, John Davidson, and John
Robert Dick (nominated by the Port Chalmers Water-
front Workers' Industrial Union of Workers).

Revocation of Appointment of Wharf in New Zealand
Pursuant to section 19 of the Customs Act 1913, and to
powers delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under
section 11 of that Act, the Acting Comptroller of Customs
hereby revokes the appointment of the wharf described in the
Schedule hereto as a wharf for the lading and unlading of
goods.

Appointment of Customs Examining Place in New Zealand
Pursuant to section 20 of the Customs Act 1913, and to
powers delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under
section 11 of that Act, the Acting Comptroller of Customs

subject to the control of the Customs.

Appointment of Sufferance Wharf at Wellington
Pursuant to section 23 of the Customs Act 1913, the Acting
Comptroller of Customs hereby appoints the Oil Berth on
the western side of the Dock Mooring Wharf, within the Port
of Wellington, as a sufferance wharf for the lading and
unlading of:
(a) Oil and motor spirits, in bulk; or
(b) Goods, which have been delivered from the control of
the Customs; or
(c) Goods of New Zealand produce or manufacture.

Authorisation of the Exchange of a Reserve for Other Land
